If you're looking for knitwear that works as hard as you do—whether you're traveling, heading to the office, or just living your life—our collection made from LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fabric with PBT is about to become your new best friend.
Lightweight, silky soft, wrinkle-resistant, and sustainably made? Yes, please. This is the kind of fabric that makes getting dressed easy and looking polished effortless. Let's talk about why we're obsessed with it (and why you will be too).

Great question! Viscose is a natural fiber made from wood pulp—think pine and beech trees from European forests. The wood pulp is treated to extract cellulose, which is then spun into yarn. The result? A fabric that's lightweight, breathable, soft, and drapes like a dream, with a silky texture and subtle sheen that just looks expensive.
But here's the thing: regular viscose has a bit of a bad reputation when it comes to environmental impact. That's where LENZING™ ECOVERO™ comes in— it's a total game-changer.
ECOVERO™ is produced by Lenzing™ AG, an Austrian company that's basically the gold standard for sustainable textile production. Here's what makes it special:
Sustainably Sourced: The wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). No sketchy sourcing here.
Closed-Loop Production: This is where it gets cool. Traditional viscose production uses chemicals like carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide, which can be harmful if released into the environment. ECOVERO™ uses a "closed-loop" process, meaning those chemicals are recovered, converted, and returned to the production process as raw materials. Nothing gets released into the environment. Zero waste, maximum responsibility.
Renewable Energy: Lenzing™ often powers production with solar and renewable energy, so the carbon footprint stays low.
Way Less Water and CO2: Compared to conventional viscose, ECOVERO™ uses significantly less water and generates fewer CO2 emissions. It's just cleaner all around.
Fully Biodegradable: Unlike a lot of other fibers, ECOVERO™ is fully biodegradable and compostable in soil, freshwater, and marine environments. When its life is over, it goes back to nature.
Better Color That Lasts: ECOVERO™ has much better color retention than Tencel/Lyocell, which means your pieces stay vibrant longer. More wears, less fading, better longevity.
Certified Safe: It carries both the EU Ecolabel and Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification, meaning it's free from harmful substances and safe for you and the planet.

Now, viscose on its own is lovely—but it can be a little delicate. That's why ECOVERO™ is blended with 20 percent PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a high-performance synthetic fiber that takes everything up a notch.
Here's what PBT brings to the party:
Natural Stretch and Recovery: PBT gives the fabric just the right amount of stretch and ensures it bounces back to its original shape after washing. No sagging, no stretching out—just knitwear that fits beautifully, wear after wear.
Extra Durability: It improves the tensile strength of the fabric, making the otherwise delicate viscose fiber more durable and long-lasting. Translation: your pieces can handle real life.
Moisture Resistance: PBT enhances moisture resistance, so the fabric dries quickly. Perfect for travel, layering, or those days when you need to look put-together in a hurry.
Wrinkle-Resistant: The result is a luxurious, soft, silky fabric that resists wrinkles. Toss it in your suitcase, pull it out, and you're good to go. Seriously—it's a travel essential.
Our EcoViscose knitwear is the kind of versatile, high-performance fabric that belongs in every wardrobe. Here's why:
Perfect for Travel: Lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying, and packable. Whether you're on a plane, train, or road trip, this fabric travels like a dream.
All-Day Polish: Polished, professional, and comfortable enough to wear all day. The silky drape and subtle sheen give it an elevated look that works in any setting.
Sustainably Made: You can feel good about what you're wearing. From responsibly sourced wood to closed-loop production and renewable energy, every step is designed to minimize environmental impact.
Effortlessly Stylish: The fabric drapes beautifully, feels amazing against your skin, and looks expensive without trying too hard. It's the kind of piece you reach for again and again.

A little care goes a long way. Here's how to keep your pieces looking their best:
Washing: Use the delicate cycle in the machine and turn your sweater inside out.
Handle gently when wet: Don't rub or brush the fabric when it's wet—viscose is more delicate in that state.
Air dry: Skip the dryer and air dry your pieces. Just keep them out of direct sunlight.
No bleach: Stick to gentle detergents such as Woolite Delicates and skip the bleach.
Iron as needed: Viscose irons beautifully, so you can smooth out any wrinkles and restore the shape easily.
With a little thoughtful care, your ECOVERO™ pieces will stay soft, vibrant, and gorgeous for years.
At Noyac Knits, we believe that great style and sustainability go hand in hand. Our EcoViscose collection is proof that you don't have to choose between performance, beauty, and responsibility. You can have it all—and look amazing doing it.
Every fiber we choose is intentional. Every piece we make is designed to last. Because the most sustainable garment is the one you keep wearing.
